Stefan Langer added a third WGC title to his tally taking 1st Place in Club Class.
After 10 races in mixed weather conditions races at the World Gliding Championships Tábor, Czechia, new World Champions have beed declared in 15m, Club and Standard classes
Łukasz Grabowski from Poland has won his first World Gliding Championship, finishing in top position in 15m Class. Łukasz finished in 8th position in the final race, squeaking past Tom Arscot of Great Britain to win the championship by 12 points.
In Club Class German Stefan Langer sealed his 3rd WGC win taking 1st place in the final race and finishing the contest with a comfortable 183 point lead over Frenchman Alexandre Fierain. From Great Britain, Timothy Fletcher gained team GB their 2nd podium place in the championship finishing in 3rd place.
Standard Class was won by Lithuanian pilot Jeroen Jennen. Jeremy Hood came home 2nd overall, putting Great Britain on all three finishing podiums at WGC Tabor with Pole Jakub Barszcz taking 3rd place.
Nevertheless, Poland took top position in the Team Cup keeping Great Britain in 2nd place followed by team Germany.
