In 2o M Class the World champions are Sebastian Kawa and Christoph Matkowski from Poland followed by Steve Jones and Garry Coppin of Great Britain, third place went to Antti Lehto and Juha Sorri of Finland.
In open class is Michael Sommer from Germany regains the World Champion title after being beaten into second place at WGC Benalla. Second place goes to Filipe Levin Germany and in third place is Petr Tichý Czech Republic.
Team cup 1st place Germany, 2nd place France, 3rd place Czech Republic.
After 12 racing days with on e rest day and just one no fly day this championship was a great success. After an tough contest and taking fourth place in 20 Class Matthew Scutter (Barnes-Scutter Australia) said ‘the weather being exceptionally brilliant - better than any competition I've flown in Australia, with 13/14 flyable days at 8-9000ft. Truly miraculous given it was raining the week before we arrived and looks poor the rest of the week now.’
